Sunday Serenity

I always marvel at the way my life has turned out. Maybe I made a few mistakes, but the perception in all of them is that I learned something valuable each time. I was never noted for doing anything spectacular, but that was because I so very much enjoyed trying everything I could from singing to teaching to lighting design to writing to responsible (and irresponsible) charitable work. And then there’s caring for pets – cats, dogs, goldfish, parakeets, and zoo life.

In the end I can say I tried enough things that I am satisfied I had a great and experimental experience, knew some fantastic people, developed a unique relationship with the various gods and belief systems, lost at the concept of marriage two times, winning the third time, and can now die happy anytime 35 years from now.

Why 35 years from now? I’ll finally be old. 🙂
