Lest Anyone Forget

Actually, the Western world was never properly taught the truth of it. This is a stupendous memoir not just of Russia during WWII, but the common citizen’s mindset through both wars.

We did not know. Western culture didn’t want us to know. This part of the 20th century was globally divided politically and culturally within Russia and outside of it. We are all culpable.

This book is painfully honest.
