I spent most of yesterday trying to work through another web page. Why? Because I was reminded that I was once again a bit of a foreigner in a place that was not where I was born and raised, and it’s pretty obvious. As such, it deserves its own place in my personal history.
Fairly, I tried to go several places, including Milkshake, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, Blogger, maybe a couple of others. I kept coming back here.
Why? I’m happy with WordPress. They have not failed me for what I need.
I am a blogger. I simply write what’s on my mind. I don’t want or need to get paid for it. To my way of thinking, the minute I get paid, it’s no longer just my throwing out thoughts; it becomes some sort of agenda.
That’s not how I do things. I appreciate some stuff and don’t appreciate others. It very often changes day by day. So I clear my head by writing.
I have started a new page. When I write a blog there, I’ll let you know. It’s about living in Richmond. And I have that one about books. I will go back there, but less often.
